June Lockhart was born to Gene Lockhart and Kathleen Arthur Lockhart on June 25, 1925, in New York. Her mother was a renowned British American actress and her father was an actor, a singer, and a songwriter who also appeared on Broadway. In California, June grew up and graduated from Westlake Girls School in Beverly Hills.
She had two sons, Anne Kathleen and June Elizabeth, and was married to ‘Dr. John F. Maloney’ from 1951 to 1959. Lockhart was also a voice actor who spoke in the animated series ‘This Are the Days’ for Martha Day, the principal character of Hanna-Barbera (1974-1975). In 1982, in the animated picture ‘Aladdin and the magic lamp,’ she became the mother of Aladdin.
