The Hillsboro Hops are a Minor League Baseball team based in Hillsboro, Oregon, a suburb of Portland.As an Arizona Diamondbacks affiliate, the Hops compete in the High-A West.Ron Tonkin Field, which opened in 2013, serves as their home field.

The 2017 NWL All-Star Game was held in Portland, and the Hops were the hosts.The Hops clinched a playoff berth for the sixth consecutive season on August 28, 2019, shattering the Northwest League record of five straight seasons previously held by Vancouver.
In the divisional round, they met the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, which they defeated 2–0, advancing to the Northwest League championships for the first time since 2015.Hillsboro trailed 3–1 in Game 1 but scored four runs in the bottom of the ninth inning, including a walk-off three-run home run by Andy Yerzy.
The Hops lost 9–1 in Game 2, but won Game 3 with a two-run ninth-inning rally.Game 4 ended in a 6–0 whitewash for the Hops.Hillsboro then won the series 3–2 in Game 5, claiming their third NWL championship and first since 2015.The Minor League Baseball season was postponed because to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Hops were reorganised into the High-A West, along with five other former Northwest League teams, as part of Major League Baseball’s restructuring of Minor League Baseball in 2021.They’ll keep their status as the Diamondbacks’ High-A affiliate.
